Little Blue Linux Professional SDK for the Renesas RSK+7203

Little Blue Linux provides a full-featured professional development kit for the popular low-cost Renesas RSK+7203 development board. The powerful 200MHz SuperH SH7203 (SH-2A) core from Renesas is perfect for running Linux.

Little Blue Linux host distribution - a streamlined, customised and preconfigured OS with all the tools we use to make your development tasks easier. Our target application and BSP wizards automate the build and deployment of your custom BSPs.

Little Blue Linux target RSK+7203 BSP - take advantage of the latest stable and tested Linux kernel, drivers, libraries and patches with online updates from our server. The embedded Linux BSP is available for royalty free use within your OEM products.

Enhanced Little Blue Igloo IDE

The Professional SDK contains many added plug-ins to Eclipse, included cheat-sheets, embedded application Project Wizard (allowing you to link against the BSP packages), and most importantly the BSP project wizard automates all the toolchain, library and header set-up.

The Professional SDK is completely new and is componentized which allows for further customisation, for example by picking and choosing required packages and configuring them as deemed fit (all from within the IDE).

The Target BSP Wizard allows you to create a flash image suitable for product development production. Build and configure for development (debug on, no optimization) or release (stripped debug, full optimisation) for the smallest and fastest binary images.

A custom Target Application Wizard allows you to automate the creation of new development projects within the Little Blue Igloo IDE and include them within the target image build process through the Target BSP Wizard.

The professional SDK provides additional sample applications plus more added features and updates in the future through our online distribution server.

Installation and Use

The RSK+7203 Professional SDK can be fully installed on your development PC host or configured to run as a bootable remote image from external USB storage, also allowing the saving and restoring of code workspaces using the removable media. Installation within a virtual server environment such as VMWare is also possible however we are not currently able to guarantee support for this configuration.

Each Professional SDK Developer Seat purchased includes secure access to our online distribution server to download all the latest patches and additional packages free of charge for 12 months.

Support

The Professional SDK includes up to 10 hours/10 incidents professional developer support for the first 45 days from purchase through telephone and email (per developer seat purchased). Support is provided to Registered Users only using their registered email address and telephone contact details.
